 Beverly Beverly R. Sands

I have been working in the legal field in California for more than 40 years. In the late 1960's and early 1970's, I was very involved in the creation of a new profession then known as Legal Assistants, later to be called Paralegals. I was instrumental in the founding of the paralegal program and California State University at Los Angeles and taught in that program for over 25 years. Since graduating from law school and being admitted to the California Bar in 1979, I have practiced in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate, and Estate Administration. My goal is to provide, in addition to legal services, the moral support and personal assistance which is so important to my clients.

In 1998 I move to Santa Monica and enrolled at Southwestern University School of Law where I received my J.D. in 2001. After law school I was able to work for several mid-sized law firms where I gained valuable experience, until 2003 when I established my estate planning practice. In 2006 I joined Deering, Sands, & Berberoglu. I handle both small and large estates, as well as simple and complex Probate and Conservatorship matters. Much of my work is centered on litigation, and I maintain a caseload that allows me to spend time with my clients in order to get to know them understand their businesses.
